Judith Nicholson does research in critical mobilities studies. Current projects interpret settler colonial automobilities in Canada, or how the nation was and is shaped through automobility infrastructure and ideology; the politics of automobility that drives contemporary vehicular violence; and the intertwined mobilities of postcards, tourists, exhibited people, and non-human animals in nineteenth-century human zoos in Europe.
