Laurier invites community to 25th anniversary celebration in Brantford

On Feb. 16, from 1 to 7 p.m., community members are invited to the Purple and Gold Party: Celebrating Laurier's 25th anniversary in Brantford.
Laurier welcomes everyone to One Market, where there will be family friendly fun, including bouncy castles, face painting, entertainment, and purple and gold cupcakes. The Wilfrid Laurier Students' Union-run Belmont Restaurant will also be open in One Market, with hot drinks and snacks available for purchase.
The celebration is part of the City of Brantford's Winter Fun Fest, which will take place on Feb. 16 from noon until 8 p.m. in Harmony Square. The event will feature a free DJ Skate Party, carousel rides, s'mores by campfires and fireworks.
