Laurier’s campuses and locations are closing today at 6 p.m., Saturday, February 15, due to severe weather. Campus operations will resume as normal 6 a.m., Tuesday, February 18. Buildings on Laurier’s campuses and locations will be controlled access, which means you require a OneCard to access buildings. The library on the Waterloo campus is closed.

Closing the university means that:  

• In-person meetings and other in-person scheduled events on campus are cancelled. Organizers of online meetings and events will determine and communicate if online meetings and events scheduled at 6 p.m. or later today, Saturday, February 15, will continue in the usual manner.   

• Staff performing essential services are expected to be on site.   

• All in-person university services will resume at 6 a.m., Tuesday, February 18. Access to all remote and online university services will continue in the usual manner.
