At Laurier, you can look forward to a university experience that allows you to gather, grow, study and embrace your place as a Golden Hawk. On our Milton campus, you can build your future close to home without compromising on academic quality or connection. Here are some of our students’ favourite ways to enjoy their university experience on our Milton campus:
A mix of in-person and online courses, and in-person and online student supports, offer the perfect flexibility for school-life integration.
Convenient access to public transportation and class schedules timed to avoid early mornings and late nights help streamline the logistics of studying close to home.
Small class sizes and curated programming set you up to build meaningful, first-name connections with peers and profs alike.
Milton is a rapidly growing, vibrant community, where optimism meets opportunity. The mid-sized town is home to the youngest population in Ontario and is close to Ontario’s 401 highway and GO Transit. With quaint bistros, arts and athletics facilities, 64 parks and an innovation centre, Milton offers a balanced student lifestyle in a diverse community.
Just because you’re living off campus or staying at home doesn’t mean you should be cut off from the action. You can still enjoy all the benefits that a residence community offers by joining LOCUS (Laurier Off-Campus University Students), which provides off-campus students with academic, social and personal support to ensure that you won’t miss out on Laurier’s on-campus experience.
The Laurier Milton Academic Centre is accessible by GO Transit, local transportation networks and 400-series highways, making it easy to get to your classes and other amenities.
Milton Transit Bus service has added a Laurier Milton stop to their Route 1 which operates Monday-Friday from 5:30 a.m. - 9:45 p.m. Bus transit service runs every 40-60 minutes to campus and every 20-30 minutes during peak morning and evening periods. There is also free onsite parking available.
